DayZ Server Rules

Basic server rules:

  • Use Common Sense.
  • ALL of Great American Hunt's Game Servers are STRICTLY PvE! Killing/Harming/Looting other players is PROHIBITED.
  • AI on our server(s) are wearing a PUMPKIN HELMET, This is to help tell them apart from fellow survivors.
  • When looting AI and YOU (the player) decide to wear their pumpkin helmet, you are asking to be shot/harmed and are fair game to be killed/looted. DO NOT WEAR THE PUMPKIN HELMET! If you decide to wear the pumpkin helmet you will NOT be compensated for any losses.
  • Make In-Game name same as Discord name.
  • Treat others with respect.
  • No blank nicknames.
  • You may be asked to move base locations if we deem your build is to close to a live event.
    • (we normally ask users to relocate if we find them 250m or closer to said events)
  • No inappropriate nicknames.
  • No sexually explicit nicknames.
  • No offensive nicknames.
  • No nicknames with unusual or unreadable Unicode.
  • No inappropriate profile pictures.
  • No sexually explicit profile pictures.
  • No offensive profile pictures.
  • Racism of any type will not be tolerated!!
  • When loosing items and asking for reimbursement, unless without video proof reimbursment is up to admin discretion
  • Must claim live events when you're within 150m of it. (KOTH, Airdrop, Dark Horde, etc.)
  • Do NOT interact with live events if another user is doing it, unlesss specifically asked
  • Enviormental damage to players, bases, or vehicles will NOT be compd! (AI are considered environmental)
  • Moderators reserve the right to use their own discretion regardless of any rule.
  • No exploiting loopholes in the rules (please report them).
  • Rules apply to DMing other members of the server.
  • No bugs, exploits, glitches, hacks, etc.
  • No advertising other servers.
  • No loot cycling.
  • If you are banned in anyway. Your base and all of its contents will be removed. if in clan your base will be given to another clan member
  • if you're outside of our game server(s) for over 14 days your base is liable to be deleted. you will not be compenstated
  • Use vehicles at your own risk (land, air, sea) - they can sometime can sometimes be buggy. We will not replace broken/destroyed vehicles.
  • No looting any player / cross what so ever unless specifically allowed by said player
  • Do NOT park your vehicle in the safe zones at the traders for more than 8 hours / 2 restarts, Any vehicle left in safe zones will be removed by Admin. Parking inside safe zones for Commerce is acceptable. We have parking garages & packing wrenches for a reason, USE THEM!

DayZ Base Building Rules

BASE BUILDING RULES:

  • Use Common Sense
  • No building within 1000m of a marked trader.
  • No building within 500m of marked military zones. (if unsure what are military zones please ask before building)
  • No building within 100m of a ALL roads.
  • Bases (where you store gear) are limited to 3x3x2 (unless using existing map building) - Perimeter walls are acceptable
    • unless you're in a party (clan) of 8 or more, acceptions may be made. please make a ticket for this. (if over 8 4x4x3) (players are able to clan up by putting a tag infront of their name. Example: "(gah.gg) Papa")
      Note: GAH.GG RESERVED FOR ADMINS ONLY. DO NOT LOG IN WITH THIS TAG IN YOUR NAME
  • No building higher than 3 stories (unless using existing map building)
  • If using just tents, 3 tents maximum per land claim per base/group
  • Three greenhouses maximum per base OR Three Garden Plots per base, no in between - Static green house's count if under radius
  • No building within 200 meters of another players base
  • Only one Base per person/Group under land claim, If sharing Land Claim, rules still apply ( i.e. 3x3x2 size limit )
  • No hoarding, this is pve. No need to hoard!
  • A 48 hour warning will be issued in eviction notices with a given picture and coordinates of offences before an Admin will remove the offence
  • No blocking water fountains.
  • No building in any POI's (police station, hostpital, firestation, castles, stores, camp site buildings)
  • If you are banned in anyway. Your base and all of its contents will be removed as we assume you have relinquished ownership.
  • Don't block any roads
  • Don't Build on any bridges.. (I can't believe i had to add this)
  • No more than 3 vehicles per base/group, this includes ALL vehicles (air and land).
